Despite its size, it is host many interesting museums, galleries and other various things to do. The Hukuru Miskiiy, also known as the Old Friday Mosque, is the oldest in the country, dating back to 1656. Next, plan at least few hours at the spa. Luxembourg City, Luxembourg
Certainly going anywhere within Luxembourg is unique; it’s one of the richest countries in the world, and one of the smallest countries in Europe. Hoverer Luxembourg City is just fabulous. The city of Luxembourg proper was founded in 963. Thus, the history of this place is very rich. The town is built on and around a sandstone promontory riddled with 15 miles of underground fortifications. Have a walk in the typical old downtown district near the Grand Ducal Palace which is the official residence of Grand Duke Henri, Luxembourg’s reigning monarch. It’s not open to the public, but I find plenty to admire in the fairy-tale 16th-century exterior before exploring the unexpectedly engaging collections of the nearby Luxembourg City History Museum. During the day, you will see a guard in front of the palace. Then, climb on the Viaduc (Passerelle) and enjoy a magnificent view from the top.
